Bakgat Boma is a proudly South African innovation, designed to bring simplicity, durability, and versatility to open-fire cooking. Built from high-grade 4mm mild steel and paired with premium stainless steel accessories, this all-in-one boma braai is made for people who take their fires seriously — and their food even more so.
Born from a love for traditional braais and frustration with flimsy alternatives, the Bakgat Boma was built to last, to function, and to look good doing it. Whether you’re cooking for the family or hosting a full weekend gathering, this unit handles it all.
Available in 1000mm and 800mm sizes, each boma is modular and fully customizable. Add fire baskets, cooker plates, grids, cast iron pans, side tables, and more — all designed to hook into the outer ring with adjustable height settings. The result?
